As a music enthusiast with a desire to explore global sounds, I want to feel immersed in a space so that I can delve deep into a region’s cultural and musical roots.
How might we create an engaging digital space that immerses music enthusiasts in a cultural and musical experience, enabling them to explore and connect with a region's music and fostering a deep appreciation for its unique sounds and scenery?

Landing Page - This page was designed to give a glimpse of the different feature Afar offers, before logging in or signing up for an account.
Voyages Page - Each city is represented by its unique imagery, capturing the essence of its musical heritage and different genres. The UX/UI design of our music platform introduces a captivating “Voyages” section , inviting users to embark on immersive musical journeys through the diverse sounds of different cities. The page also displays various playlists curated just for its users and allows them to “curate” their own journeys. The UX also focuses on personalization. And finally, introduces “The Lounge Room” feature.
On-Boarding Process - The pages were designed to encourage members to sign up or log in to “unlock” their journey with afar.
Landing Page - Our main features are two of the following:
Our Voyages - A page that offers exclusive musical content from a city to its users.
Our Lounge Room - A page that pushes the narrative of connectivity and uniting through music. The lounge room enables the user to curate their own setlist and start a live lounge room session with friends and people from all over.

Intuitive navigation tools allow users to explore various genres, artists, and instruments within each city, enhancing their discovery experience. Whether diving into the vibrant sounds of Lagos or the pulsating beats of Peru, our "Voyages" section offers an enriching exploration of global music cultures, promising users unforgettable musical experiences at their fingertips.

Select your music setlist from an extensive library spanning genres and moods, ensuring every moment is tailored to your taste. Invite friends to join your session, whether they're across the street or across the globe, and let the music bring you closer together.
